Mulga Road Books
This is another project of the
Rotary Club of Hurstville.
Located at: Shop 2, 89 Mulga Road Oatley
Our mission is to raise money to distribute to Local, National and International community charities as decided by the Board of the Rotary Club of Hurstville.
Books are donated to us by a very generous community. The sale of the Books is the process by which we raise funds for the benefit of others.
Everybody who works for the bookshop - whether it be for the electronic management, cataloguing the books, or assisting customers - are all volunteers.
The book shop also assist other community groups to achieve their goals by working with them in consultation to:
provide educational support
raise their own funds through their own Book Fairs
provide "Donations in Kind" that assists their own educational and development programs
When you purchase one or more of the wonderful books on offer, your money will help support local, national and international projects.
When looking at the pathway of your donations on a local level, you will find that it will go towards helping places like St. George Hospital and the Royal Flying Doctor Service,
The bookshop has a very extensive collection of books - so no matter what type of read you are in the mood for, you are sure you will find something to suit.
The collection of donated books flood the aisles, shelves, and bookcases that comprise the shop.
There is an expansive range of fiction, non-fiction, and children's books, all have been catalogued and arranged in the shop in a neat and orderly fashion.
There are labels of the overarching categories of the books on top of bookcases. Furthermore the sub-categories of each of these are labeled across the shelves.
Making it easy for you to find the genre and even the specific type of book you may be after, or to simply just browse for a new read in the area that most interests you.
Each one of these books is waiting to be taken to a new home to be read and loved
